On this memorable day, we proudly celebrate the inauguration of the Katougouma mosque, marking our deep commitment to local development. Launched in 2022 at the request of the village community, this construction project reflects our sincere desire to make a significant contribution to the well-being of the region.

In response to the Katougouma community’s call for assistance in 2022, we undertook the construction of this mosque, a structuring and fundamental project for the district’s inhabitants. In collaboration with over thirty local artisans, our teams worked together to bring this initiative to fruition, strengthening the skills of the craftsmen and underlining our commitment to the preservation of local traditions and culture.

Located in the Katougouma district, inhabited by a farming and fishing community of some 5,385 inhabitants, this place of worship now represents a central space for prayer and gathering. It fulfils the community’s dream of providing a place for the practice of faith and social cohesion.
