Since our partnership began in 2015 with the SMB Winning Consortium in Guinea, United Mining Supply (UMS) has been actively involved in the development and exploitation of the country’s valuable bauxite reserves. The exceptional quality and accessibility of Guinean bauxite make it a highly prized resource in the aluminum industry.

Our main objective is to exploit these bauxite deposits while establishing the necessary infrastructure for its extraction, transport and export. This includes the construction of mining roads, railroads, ports and other logistics facilities.

The SMB Winning Consortium, a major player in the Guinean mining sector, brings together several entities such as Société Minière de Boké, Winning Shipping Ltd (a major Asian shipping company) and Shandong Weiqiao (a leading Chinese aluminum producer).

As part of the SMB Winning Consortium, UMS is in charge of supervising all road transport, coordinating a network of some ten Guinean service providers mobilizing over 500 vehicles.
