SIMANDOU

Simandou bauxite reserves

As part of the strategic project for Guinea involving the development of major bauxite reserves at Simandou, we have undertaken to take on a number of crucial logistical responsibilities. In addition to the mining operation itself, UMS is responsible for the delivery of certain infrastructure essential to the project, such as mining roads, processing facilities, etc. In addition, UMS is responsible for the storage and delivery of fuel, a vital element in the operation of mining equipment and associated facilities. This collaboration will ensure smooth, efficient implementation of the Simandou project, contributing to Guinea’s economic and social development while respecting environmental and social standards.
