Our subsidiary UTS strengthened with the opening of 15 new service stations in Guinea
We are proud to announce our ambitious project to expand our fuel distribution network in Guinea. With our subsidiary United Trade Services (UTS), which specializes in the import, transport and distribution of fuel, we plan to open fifteen new service stations by the end of 2023, reinforcing our commitment as a trusted partner for Guineans’ daily mobility.
Over the years, our group has consolidated its position as a leader in integrated logistics in Guinea and West Africa. Already operating as a hydrocarbon importer since 2005 for our internal needs and in partnership with companies such as TotalEnergies and VIVO, we created UTS in 2015 to step up our distribution activities. We are currently the third largest importer of fuel in Guinea, with an extensive network of 30 stations throughout the country.
The year 2023 represents a crucial milestone for UTS, with the recent inauguration of the Tatakourou, Konban, Madina, Nafadji and Banian stations. These strategic additions not only broaden our presence, but also meet growing needs in key sectors such as mining and industry.

We reaffirm our commitment to fuel proximity and accessibility in the current context. Our aim is to facilitate the supply of our customers and partners, making our stations essential service points in the daily lives of Guineans.
As a major player in mining transport and logistics in West Africa, we at UTS place great emphasis on the positive social and environmental impact of our activities. With 2,067 dedicated employees, we continue to provide integrated logistics solutions, covering road and air transport, import, fuel distribution, and ore transportation.
In short, our Group, through UTS, is consolidating its position as a key partner in integrated logistics, committed to supporting the growth and well-being of the Guinean community while respecting the highest environmental and social standards.
“Through the activities of UTS, a subsidiary of the UMS Group, we want to direct our efforts towards extending our fuel distribution network so that our stations become genuine partners in the daily lives of Guineans. We are thus consolidating our position as market leader, and are proud of our nationwide presence. In the current context, being a local player is our priority to make fuel accessible and facilitate supply for our customers and partners. ” adds Mohamed BENNANI, Managing Director, UMS Group.
